01/2009 Upcomming at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is a career survey of paintings by Jeff Elrod, curated by Andrea Karnes. FOCUS: Jeff Elrod, will be the artist's first solo exhibition in an American Museum. The exhibition runs February 15-March 29, 2009.

12/2008 Congratulations to Barry Anderson for his selection as one of the newest artists at Review Studios, a 3000+ sq. ft. space in downtown Kansas City. This is a program which matches Kansas City artists to local patrons and gives them a studio free of charge in exchange for supplying artwork to both the patron and the Review corporate collection.

11/2008 Ted Kincaid featured in ART ON PAPER magazine. Nest 45, a recent intaglio print by Ted Kincaid is featured as one of the best new editions of 2008 in the 5th Annual New Prints Review of the November-December issue of ART ON PAPER magazine. The print is from a suite of four new Nest etchings published by Manneken Press in Bloomington, Illinois, with whom Kincaid has exclusively collaborated for almost a decade. 06/2008 Congratulations to New American Talent artists selected for the 23rd annual exhbition at Arthouse at the Jones Center in Austin, TX. This years exhibition curated by Nato Thompson (curator and producer, Creative Time, New York, NY) includes Dallas photographer and Marty Walker Gallery artist Beau Comeaux, as well as recent gallery addition, photographer and video artist, William Lamson. The New American Talent Exhibition is screening a short selection from Lamson's new video Actions, currently scheduled for exhibition September 6th - October 11 at Marty Walker Gallery (MAP). 04/2008 ArtMotel had it's first "Open Studio Night" (Tuesday, April 22nd) with the artists in attendance, showing their recent work and works in progress. Thanks to all who came out and had burgers, beer and margaritas with us! It was a huge success! Open studios included Ted Kincaid, Jay Shinn and Marty Walker Gallery, among others.

Gallery artists Tom
Orr and Frances Bagley have been commissioned
by the Dallas Opera to execute the set and costume design for Verde's Nabucco, opening
Friday, November 10, 2006. This is the first collaboration of its kind in
Dallas Opera history and part of their 50th anniversary celebration.
Charles Wylie, curator of contemporary art at the Dallas Museum of Art, will curate and write a catalog essay for Ted Kincaid's upcoming survey exhibition Ten Years at the McKinney Avenue Contemporary, scheduled to open September 9, 2006.
